Carol Shea is a marketing researcher with 20 years of experience in quantitative,
qualitative and secondary field techniques. She’s consulted for such companies as
Avery International, Chiquita Brands, Georgia-Pacific, Lenscrafters, Meridia Healthcare,
Modern Ice, National Underwriter and PC On Call; as well as held the position of marketing
research manager of a large national bank holding company.
As a marketing research expert, Carol is a co-developer and one of three instructors for the
American Marketing Association’s Marketing Research Boot Camp. Carol has taught the MBA marketing
research class as an adjunct faculty member of the Williams College of Business, Xavier University.
She has authored articles in Marketing Research and Marketing News and has spoken on research
issues for various organizations including the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, American Marketing
Association and International Association of Business Communicators.
Carol is a former member of the Advisory Council to the US Census Bureau and vice president
and international board member of the American Marketing Association. She has an MS in
Marketing from the University of Cincinnati.
